Some wedding days feel like you’re stepping into a story that’s been written across generations — Melanie and Everhett’s was one of those. Their day at The Chapel at Firefly Lane in Dickson, Tennessee was filled with legacy, elegance, and so many heartfelt moments. It was an absolute honor to capture every detail.
Nestled in the Tennessee hills, The Chapel at Firefly Lane is both rustic and refined. Antique arched windows, wooden pews, vaulted ceilings, and soft natural light created a setting that felt timeless and sacred. Just steps away, the Reception Hall offered a modern, glass-walled space with chandeliers and twinkling lights — the perfect backdrop for celebration.
Melanie wore a Stella York gown that was as elegant as it was graceful. Her bridal look carried layers of meaning: her “something borrowed” was her mother’s wedding shoes from 1984, a true heirloom. Her “something blue” was a sapphire ring gifted by Everhett for her birthday — a stunning touch that symbolized both love and promise.
Everhett and his groomsmen kept things classic in gray suits with white ties, perfectly complementing the soft tones of the chapel.
When the chapel’s 200-year-old windows flooded the room with sunlight, Melanie walked down the aisle to meet her groom. It was a moment filled with reverence, joy, and the kind of love that leaves an imprint.
After vows and happy tears, the couple made a grand entrance into the reception — met with cheers, music, and the embrace of their closest family and friends.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, a cozy coffee station, charcuterie boards, and biscuits with jam — all lovingly prepared by House Blend Catering. Later, dinner was served by Zander’s Pizza, keeping the mood relaxed and full of joy.
The evening’s moments were unforgettable:
The night ended with a heart-shaped wedding cake by Kailey’s Cakes, a sweet and simple symbol of the day’s meaning.
Melanie and Everhett’s wedding wasn’t just a day to remember — it was a living reminder of how weddings honor both past and future. From family heirlooms to meaningful dances, every detail carried love, beauty, and legacy.
We’re so grateful we got to tell their story.
