If you’ve been dreaming of a Jubilee Woods wedding in Lewisburg, TN, Lexi and Shane’s wedding day is sure to inspire you. Nestled just a short drive from Columbia, Spring Hill, Franklin, Shelbyville, and Murfreesboro, Jubilee Woods has quickly become one of Middle Tennessee’s most beautiful wedding venues. With its breathtaking glass chapel, elegant white marble fountain, and picturesque grounds, it’s truly a photographer’s dream.
Lexi actually reserved Jubilee Woods before the venue was even completed. From the moment she saw the architectural renderings of the stunning glass chapel, she knew it was where she wanted to marry Shane. I completely understood her excitement because I had been looking forward to photographing a wedding here ever since I first saw the plans myself.
Wedding day arrived with beautiful temperatures and soft clouds drifting across the Tennessee sky. Bill and I arrived early to find Lexi surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mother in the bright bridal suite while everyone enjoyed the excitement of the morning. One of the sweetest details of the day was that Lexi’s hair was styled by her brother, a professional hairstylist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The room was filled with laughter, anticipation, and joyful conversation as everyone prepared for the celebration ahead.
While the girls finished getting ready, we photographed all of Lexi and Shane’s carefully chosen wedding details. Her wedding featured elegant shades of blue throughout the day, creating a timeless color palette that perfectly complemented Jubilee Woods. Her designer shoes and beautifully detailed perfume bottle were absolutely stunning and photographed beautifully.
One of my favorite personal touches was a vintage heart-shaped ceramic box that Lexi had thrifted and transformed into a beautiful ring box. It’s thoughtful heirloom details like these that make every wedding uniquely personal.
The reception space continued the elegant blue theme with lush blue and white hydrangeas decorating each table. Every detail reflected Lexi and Shane’s classic style while creating an inviting atmosphere for family and friends.
Before seeing one another, the couple exchanged incredibly meaningful gifts. Shane surprised Lexi with a Pandora charm bracelet featuring a single heart charm. She shared how excited she is to add charms for their future children as their family grows—a gift filled with hope for the years ahead.
Lexi’s gift to Shane was equally unforgettable. She surprised him with a beautiful pair of Tecovas boots customized with the letter “L” stamped into the heel and their wedding date inside the boot. His reaction said everything. He absolutely loved them.
One of the most emotional moments of the day happened as Lexi’s mother helped her only daughter into her wedding dress. Standing together in front of the large mirror inside the bridal suite, both shared tears as they realized the day they had dreamed about for so many years had finally arrived.
Their first look was full of anticipation and genuine emotion. As Shane turned around, his face immediately lit up with the biggest smile while Lexi couldn’t hold back her tears. These quiet moments before the ceremony are always some of my favorites because couples are able to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy one another before the celebration begins.
Afterward, we explored the beautiful grounds at Jubilee Woods for portraits. One very special guest joined us—Toby, their sweet dog. He was thrilled to see his favorite people, covering them with kisses and making everyone laugh during portraits. Including your pets in your wedding day is always something I love whenever possible.
Then it was time for the ceremony inside Jubilee Woods’ incredible glass chapel.
The chapel is unlike anything else in Middle Tennessee. Natural light pours through the walls of glass, creating a bright, airy space that feels peaceful and intimate. The ceremony space was beautifully decorated with a simple cross at the altar, while white satin bows adorned each guest chair. Every seat also included a hand fan and a packet of tissues for the inevitable
In one of the day’s most touching moments, Lexi’s brother walked her down the aisle toward Shane.
Following the ceremony, we were treated to the most beautiful golden hour. Lexi and Shane requested plenty of portraits around Jubilee Woods’ signature white three-tier marble fountain as well as in front of the iconic glass chapel. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Between the glowing evening light and the stunning architecture, I could have photographed portraits there until sunset disappeared completely.
Eventually it was time to head inside for the celebration.
The reception was full of heartfelt toasts, nonstop dancing, and unforgettable moments with family and friends. As the evening came to an end, guests gathered outside waving glowing bubble wands and flashing light sticks, creating the perfect send-off for the newlyweds as they began their next adventure together.
