Danielle and James’ Disney Wish wedding was certainly the latter.

Their wedding aboard the Disney Wish cruise ship was filled with beautiful details, family traditions, sentimental touches, and plenty of Disney magic. From Danielle’s breathtaking ballgown and sparkling tiara to the emotional moments she shared with her father, every part of their wedding day felt incredibly personal.

A Princess Bride on the Disney Wish

The Disney Wish Atrium provided the perfect setting for Danielle’s fairytale wedding.

When she appeared in her stunning ballgown, complete with a sparkling tiara and a veil adorned with rhinestones, she looked every bit the princess she had dreamed of being.

Then came one of the most memorable entrances of the day.

Danielle gracefully descended the grand staircase with her father by her side. With a sweet, princess-like wave, she made her way toward the ceremony, surrounded by the incredible architecture and unmistakable magic of the Disney Wish Atrium.

It was a moment that felt straight out of a Disney movie.

But behind the beautiful dress and magical setting was a bride surrounded by family, history, and so much love.

An Engagement Ring Filled With Family History

James wanted Danielle’s engagement ring to be more than simply beautiful.

He wanted it to tell a story.

He worked with Philipsons Jewelry to design a ring specifically for Danielle, incorporating meaningful details that connected their future together with the generations who came before them.

Among the smaller side diamonds was a stone from Danielle’s great-grandmother’s engagement ring.

What a beautiful way to carry a piece of family history into a new marriage.

The ring wasn’t simply a symbol of James’ love for Danielle. It became a tangible connection between the generations of their family and the future they were beginning together.

Those are the kinds of details we love to photograph because years from now, they will carry just as much meaning as they did on the wedding day.

Something Borrowed, Something Blue, and Something Incredibly Meaningful

Danielle also incorporated a beautiful family tradition into her wedding day with her something borrowed and something blue.

Her something borrowed was a handkerchief that her sister Alexis had given to their mother on her wedding day.

During the ceremony, Danielle used the handkerchief to wipe away tears of joy.

It was such a small detail, but it carried decades of family history.

Something that had once been part of her mother’s wedding day was now with Danielle as she began her own marriage.

There is something incredibly special about wedding traditions like this. They remind us that while every couple’s wedding day is uniquely their own, they are also connected to the people and stories that came before them.

A Special Gift for Dad

One of the most emotional details of Danielle’s wedding day was the gift she gave her father.

Danielle chose a tie for him to wear, but she had something special hidden on the underside.

Attached to the tie was a photograph of Danielle and her father from when she was only hours old.

She also gave him cufflinks that represented the special bond they share.

It was a beautiful reminder that no matter how much life changes, she will always be his little girl.

And for a father walking his daughter down the aisle, there could hardly be a more meaningful gift.

Saying “I Do” Aboard the Disney Wish

When Danielle and James exchanged their vows, they were surrounded by the people they love and the enchanting atmosphere of the Disney Wish Atrium.

The setting was beautiful, but the emotion of the ceremony was what truly stood out.

There were tears, smiles, laughter, and the quiet realization that two people were beginning an entirely new chapter together.

Their wedding wasn’t simply about getting married aboard a Disney cruise ship.
