Before the ceremony, Elizabeth and Bree ventured outside to explore downtown Nashville for their wedding portraits.

One of the things we love about photographing weddings at the Noelle Hotel is how much variety is available just outside the doors. Downtown Nashville provides an incredible mix of historic buildings, colorful streets, alleyways, architecture, and city energy.

We spent time wandering through the downtown streets together, looking for interesting backgrounds and beautiful pockets of light.

The result was a collection of wedding portraits that felt both romantic and distinctly Nashville.

There were plenty of moments filled with laughter and movement, along with quieter portraits that allowed Elizabeth and Bree’s connection to take center stage.

Rooftop Wedding Portraits With a Nashville Skyline View

We also headed to the rooftop of the Noelle for portraits overlooking downtown Nashville.

With the city stretching out behind them, Elizabeth and Bree had the perfect backdrop for photographs that captured the feeling of getting married in Music City.

The rooftop portraits were a beautiful contrast to the intimate indoor ceremony. Instead of focusing only on traditional wedding portraits, we were able to incorporate the city that surrounded them and make their photographs feel connected to the place where they chose to begin this next chapter together.
