Romantic Spring Wedding at Palace of Riverbend in Fayettiville, TN

Libby & Riley’s Palace of Riverbend Wedding in Fayetteville, TN

Libby and Riley’s Palace of Riverbend wedding in Fayetteville, TN was a day fifteen years in the making. From emotional first looks to a joyful ceremony surrounded by white florals and live music, every part of their celebration reflected the depth of their story. As a Fayetteville TN wedding venue, Palace of Riverbend offers elegant estate charm, spacious grounds, and beautiful portrait locations — making it the perfect setting for their long-awaited “I do.”

Getting Ready at Palace of Riverbend

The morning started early in Fayetteville, Tennessee at the beautiful Palace of Riverbend wedding venue. Bill and I arrived and were immediately welcomed into the joyful buzz of the day as Libby and Riley prepared to become husband and wife.

Upstairs, Libby was finishing hair and makeup with her bridesmaids. She wore the cutest oversized white button-down embroidered with her future initials on the cuff, while her bridesmaids wore matching baby blue versions. The room was filled with music, laughter, snacks, and the kind of excitement that only comes when you know something life-changing is about to happen.

Meanwhile, Riley and the guys were in the groom’s quarters, relaxed and practicing their putts — soaking in those final moments before everything officially began.

As Libby is her parents’ only daughter, the gowning portion of the morning carried a weight of emotion. Her mom was doing her best to hold back tears as she watched her youngest child — her baby girl — step into her wedding gown. And goodness… Libby was a stunning bride.

While I captured candid moments of the morning, Bill photographed their classic black-and-white detail shots. One of the most sentimental pieces included was a ring that belonged to Libby’s late grandmother, which Libby wore on her right hand — such a meaningful touch.

Emotional First Looks at Palace of Riverbend

Libby had not one, but four emotional first looks.

The first was with her bridesmaids. She was so overwhelmed with emotion that she had to step out of the room before they even got a peek. After a quick moment to compose herself, she came back in — and the girls were absolutely speechless. Libby was striking.

Next came her dad. Before I could even explain how the first look would unfold, he was already wiping tears away. The moment he turned around and saw his daughter in her gown… there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.

Her older brothers were up next — and they had no idea it was happening. Finding out just five minutes before made it even more emotional. Watching them see their baby sister in her wedding dress was incredibly sweet. They were fully in their feelings, and it was such a gift to document.

And finally, it was Riley’s turn.

They chose to have their first look on the bridge at the property — one of the most beautiful spots at Palace of Riverbend. Riley, who has loved Libby for 15 years, could not hold back his tears. Seeing his girlfriend of nearly a lifetime standing before him as his bride was powerful. They also shared private vows in that moment, and it was intimate and incredibly special.

After family portraits, they had a bit of downtime before the ceremony — a chance to breathe before the celebration truly began.

A Beautiful Ceremony at Palace of Riverbend

As guests were seated, a five-piece orchestra played softly while a live painter captured the ceremony scene in real time. The ceremony space was elegant and romantic, filled with white florals — with calla lilies stealing the show.

Libby and Riley have known each other almost their entire lives. They met in second grade and had their first date in sixth grade. So when the pastor finally pronounced them husband and wife, you could feel the collective exhale. Fifteen years of love led to this moment.

They walked back down the aisle all smiles — officially stepping into forever.

Sunset Portraits & A Reception Full of Energy

We quickly snuck away for sunset portraits in the front of the venue capturing those just-married moments in the most beautiful golden light.

And then… the reception.

I have never seen so much energy in one room. Their guests danced their hearts out and celebrated with pure joy. It was the kind of reception where the dance floor never slowed down.

As the evening came to a close, guests gathered outside with sparklers lighting the entrance for their grand exit. After the celebration, Libby and Riley shared a quiet private last dance — soaking in their final moments of the day together.

This past Saturday, their dream became reality.

They are officially husband and wife.
