Some wedding days feel beautiful… and some feel deeply meaningful.
Christie and Brian’s day was one of those rare celebrations where you could feel, from the very beginning, that this wasn’t just about a wedding—it was about a covenant.
Their wedding at Enchanted Springs at Gordon Farms in Spring Hill, Tennessee was centered on faith, family, and intentionality—and every moment reflected that beautifully.
We arrived at Enchanted Springs at Gordon Farms around 11am on an overcast Saturday morning. The skies were gray, and the forecast all week had been calling for nearly an 80% chance of rain.
But even then, there was a quiet peace about the day.
After greeting everyone, I immediately began photographing Christie’s details while she was finishing hair and makeup. She had so many beautiful pieces, but my favorites were her shoes, purse, and bracelet—each delicately embellished with pearls.
They felt so her… timeless, soft, and full of intention.
The week leading up to the wedding, Christie had been watching the forecast closely.
I gently encouraged her to stop checking it and trust that we would simply take the day as it came—and watch the radar together when it mattered most.
Meanwhile, the incredible venue owners, Sandra and James, were ready for anything—prepared to move the ceremony indoors at a moment’s notice if needed.
And then… everything unfolded in the most beautiful way.
The rain held off through every important outdoor moment.
Every portrait.
Every memory that needed to be captured outside.
And only after everything was complete… after everyone was safely inside the reception space… the rain finally came.
It felt like such a tangible reminder of God’s presence throughout the day.
The theme woven throughout the entire day was faith, family, and butterflies.
Christie has always loved butterflies, and it was such a joy to see that love reflected everywhere—from her engagement ring to the reception details, and even in a beautiful butterfly release at the end of their ceremony.
But beyond the details, what stood out most was their heart.
Christie and Brian were so intentional about what this day represented. They wanted their wedding to be centered on their commitment to God—and that was evident in every moment.

One of the most powerful parts of the day was when they shared communion together.
It was quiet, sacred, and deeply moving—a reminder that their marriage is rooted in something far greater than just the two of them.
The entire day felt relaxed, peaceful, and full of purpose.
Not rushed.
Not performative.
Just honest, joyful, and grounded in what truly matters.
