Just a short drive outside of Nashville, tucked beneath old trees and Tennessee skies, Iriswoods offered the kind of setting that feels like it’s been waiting for a love story like this one. Victoria and Hunter’s day wasn’t just beautiful—it was deeply meaningful. Every detail, every glance, every note of music felt like part of something bigger: a covenant, not just a celebration.
Victoria got ready inside the historic Iriswoods house with the help of her sweet mom, surrounded by stillness, sunlight, and a few joyful tears. She wore a Victoria Jane gown by Veni Infantio—soft, romantic, and made even dreamier by a flowing 9-foot veil that danced in the breeze. Her bouquet added the perfect burst of color against her gown, but what really stood out was her calm, radiant smile.
There was a quiet sense of reverence woven through the morning—especially during her first looks with her mother-in-law and bridesmaids. These weren’t just photo moments. They were memory markers. And you could feel how deeply loved Victoria is by the women around her.
Hunter looked timeless in a classic black tux with a crisp white jacket. Standing alongside his groomsmen in all black, his look was sharp, but his presence was even stronger—steady, joyful, and ready.
As guests found their seats beneath the canopy of green, soft music played in the background (yes, even a few Frank Sinatra favorites made an appearance). But this ceremony was never about performance. It was sacred.
Victoria and Hunter, both chiropractors, carried themselves with grace and humility. Their vows weren’t just words—they were a covenant. Made in the presence of God and their closest loved ones, it was a ceremony full of knowing glances, quiet confidence, and deep-rooted joy.
Victoria is from Norway. Hunter is from Nashville. They met at a Halloween party in the US —and now they’re beginning their life together in Norway after a honeymoon in Tuscany. Their story already spans continents, and it showed up in the most intentional ways.
One of my favorite cultural touches? The reception included a traditional Norwegian wedding dessert—simple, elegant, and a beautiful nod to Victoria’s roots. Watching guests experience that little surprise added such warmth to the evening.
After the toasts, a hush came over the room as Hunter’s sister stepped forward. She offered a surprise gift—a stunning opera performance dedicated to the bride and groom. It wasn’t just beautiful, it was sacred.
The song felt like it rose through the rafters and into the trees, wrapping around everyone there. Eyes welled up. Hearts softened. And in that moment, it was clear: this was a family who didn’t just witness a marriage—they blessed it.
The reception unfolded just as you’d hope a summer evening would—open air, twinkle lights, music drifting through the trees, and a dance floor that stayed full all night.
Victoria and Hunter’s first dance was full of soft smiles and quiet joy—like two people who know exactly what they’ve found in each other. The parent dances that followed added even more depth to the evening. And once the dance floor opened? It never emptied.
There are couples you photograph… and then there are couples you carry with you.
Victoria and Hunter are both. The way they moved through their day—with gratitude, with reverence, with so much love for each other and their people—was unforgettable.
Norway is gaining a couple whose marriage is rooted in something timeless. And we will be cheering them on from Tennessee always.
