Some wedding days are beautiful because of the setting, and others are beautiful because of the people and the moments that make the day their own. Macy and Logan’s intimate wedding at Jubilee Woods in Lewisburg, Tennessee, was filled with the kind of meaningful moments that make us grateful to do what we do.
From Macy’s beautiful light-blue and white hydrangeas to the excitement of her daughters as they prepared to watch their parents get married, their wedding day was personal, heartfelt, and full of little memories that deserve to be remembered.
As a husband-and-wife photography team, Bill and I love documenting weddings this way. We want our couples to remember not only how their day looked, but also how it felt—the anticipation, the happy tears, the laughter, and the people who made it special.
Macy and Logan’s wedding was a lovely reminder that an intimate celebration can hold an incredible amount of love.

Macy loves hydrangeas, so it was only fitting that they became the statement flowers for her wedding day. Her beautiful light-blue and white hydrangeas added a soft, romantic touch that reflected her love for the color and complemented the timeless feel of Jubilee Woods.
We always love when couples incorporate things they genuinely love into their wedding details. Those personal touches help make the day feel like theirs, rather than simply following a trend.
And sometimes, the most memorable details are the ones that carry a little extra meaning.
While Logan was spending the morning in the groom’s quarters chatting casually with his grandfather, dad, and brother, there was a sweet detail tucked into his wedding-day attire. His socks featured pictures of both of his daughters!
It was such a fun, personal touch and a little reminder of what this wedding day meant for their family. This wasn’t just a celebration of Macy and Logan’s love. It was also a special day for the girls as their family began a new chapter together.

Macy spent the morning surrounded by people who love her, including her mother, her daughter, her stepdaughter, and other family members who had gathered to celebrate with her and Logan.
There is something especially meaningful about those quieter moments before a wedding ceremony. The day hasn’t quite begun, but the emotions are already there. Everyone is getting ready, sharing conversations, and taking in the fact that a long-awaited moment is finally here.
One of the sweetest moments came when Macy’s mother helped her into her wedding dress. There were tears, and as her mom helped her get ready, Macy was absolutely glowing.
It was one of those moments that doesn’t need much direction or staging. It simply happens, and our job is to recognize how meaningful it is and preserve it.
The girls were just as excited about the wedding. They knew something special was happening, and their enthusiasm added another layer of joy to the morning.
At one point, I overheard one of the girls ask Logan if he was excited about his and Macy’s honeymoon. His answer was a happy, “Yes!”
That little exchange made me smile. Wedding days are full of big, emotional moments, but sometimes it’s the spontaneous conversations and honest excitement that make us smile long after the day is over.

The glass chapel at Jubilee Woods was a beautiful setting for Macy and Logan’s ceremony. With its elegant design and natural light, the chapel provided a lovely backdrop for their intimate celebration.
Their ceremony was short, sweet, and beautiful. Surrounded by family, Macy and Logan exchanged vows and began this next chapter together.
We love intimate weddings because they often leave room for couples to focus on what matters most to them. There is something special about gathering the people closest to you, sharing a meaningful ceremony, and being fully present for the moment.
Macy and Logan’s ceremony was a beautiful reflection of that kind of celebration.

After the ceremony, Macy and Logan went straight into their first dance together.
It was a sweet way to begin celebrating as newlyweds, but some of the most touching moments of the evening were still to come.
Macy and Logan each shared a special dance with the girls, creating meaningful memories as their family celebrated together. Both girls were completely invested in those dances. They looked intently into their respective parent’s eyes, fully present in the moment.
Those quiet connections were incredibly sweet to witness.
As photographers, we know that a wedding gallery is about so much more than the couple’s portraits or the traditional photographs on the timeline. It is also about preserving the relationships that make a wedding day meaningful.
For Macy and Logan, those dances were a beautiful reminder that their wedding was not only the beginning of their marriage, but also a meaningful milestone for their family.
Years from now, I imagine those photographs will bring back the feeling of that evening—the excitement, the closeness, and the joy of celebrating together.

One of the beautiful things about photographing a wedding at Jubilee Woods is the opportunity to create portraits during golden hour.
As the sun begins to lower, the light becomes soft and warm, creating a beautiful atmosphere for romantic wedding photographs. The natural surroundings at Jubilee Woods offer a lovely setting for portraits that feel timeless and full of life.
We love using that last bit of daylight to slow things down and give couples a little time together after the ceremony. The wedding-day excitement can be wonderful, but it can also pass in a blur. Stepping away for portraits gives newlyweds a chance to pause, enjoy each other, and take in the fact that they’re married.
Our photography style is bright, true to color, and natural. We offer gentle direction so couples feel comfortable in front of the camera while leaving room for genuine connection and those little moments that unfold naturally.
At Jubilee Woods, the golden-hour light makes a beautiful setting even more special.

Macy and Logan’s intimate wedding was filled with the details and moments that made their celebration personal: light-blue hydrangeas, a mother’s happy tears, a groom sharing the morning with the important men in his life, two excited girls, a beautiful glass-chapel ceremony, and dances that celebrated the family they are building together.
Those are the memories we love preserving.
As a husband-and-wife photography team, Bill and I feel incredibly grateful when couples invite us into such meaningful moments. We know that long after the flowers have faded and the wedding-day details have been put away, the photographs will remain as reminders of the people, relationships, and emotions that made the day special.
