Nestled in the charming town of Birchwood, TN, Howe Farms provided the perfect backdrop for Kathryn and Noah’s unforgettable wedding day. The morning began with the soft pitter-patter of unexpected rain showers, casting a brief veil of uncertainty over the early hours. But as noon approached, the clouds parted and the sun emerged—illuminating the stunning venue and setting the stage for a day filled with love, laughter, and joyful tears.
As Bill and I arrived at Howe Farms, I made my way to The Pavilion, where the bridal suite was buzzing with anticipation. The bridesmaids and bride were already upstairs, getting their makeup and hair done by the talented team at Elements Hair Studio. The suite itself was a dream—bathed in natural light, with a massive crystal chandelier hanging gracefully in the center of the room. It added an air of elegance to the morning preparations.
Meanwhile, Bill headed down the road to the Bow Tie Club, where the groomsmen enjoyed a relaxed morning. Between games of poker and chess, the guys shared plenty of laughs and stories. A nearby pond offered a peaceful retreat, where the groomsmen cast a few lines and soaked in the quiet before the day’s emotions truly began to unfold.
As the preparations came to a close, Kathryn surprised her bridesmaids with handwritten letters, each one filled with love, gratitude, and appreciation for the special bond they shared. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Kathryn had also written a letter to her mother, though she hesitated to read it aloud—fearing tears might smudge her makeup.
One of the most emotional moments came when Kathryn shared a first look with her bridesmaids and her younger brother, affectionately known as “Bubba.” Their reactions were full of love and joy. Kathryn also had a tearful first look with her father—a tender moment that tugged at every heart in the room as he prepared to give away his firstborn daughter.
Before walking down the aisle, Kathryn and Noah shared a sweet first touch—a quiet moment to check in with each other, share a prayer, and soak in the gravity of the day. It was the final exchange before stepping into their forever, and it set the perfect tone for their heartfelt ceremony.
Kathryn and Noah’s ceremony was deeply personal. In a touching expression of their spiritual bond, they chose to wash each other’s feet—a humble and powerful act rooted in their shared love language of Acts of Service. Inspired by Jesus washing His disciples’ feet in John 13, it was a beautiful reflection of the servant-hearted love they are building their marriage on.
As the sun dipped below the horizon and the celebration neared its end, Kathryn and Noah shared a few final quiet moments together. They read their private vows on a secluded bench, under the cool night sky—a deeply emotional and intimate exchange. They also chose to share a private last dance, just the two of them, before making their grand exit and heading off to a romantic honeymoon in the Georgia mountains.
Kathryn and Noah’s wedding day at Howe Farms was a stunning blend of emotion, elegance, and meaningful traditions. Every moment reflected their deep love and connection, and it was such an honor to capture their day through our lens.
Thank you again, Kathryn and Noah, for trusting Collins and Collins Photography to document your once-in-a-lifetime memories. We wish you a lifetime filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments together.
